Theruptor Handrub is a best in class hand sanitizer that provides Persistent Anti-microbial protection and helps in Hand Hygiene. Theruptor Handrub is formulated with Chlorhexidine Gluconate at 2.5% w/v and Ethyl Alcohol at 70% v/v along with skin emollients, moisturizers and excipients. It is indicated for rapid hand disinfection. It is suitable for use before and after contact with patients. It has a broard spectrum of Anti-microbial activity and is an effective microbicidal solution. Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum biocide effective against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. Addition of chlorhexidine to alcohol-based preparations results in significantly greater residual activity than alcohol alone.
